CX4 — Sculptural Side Table. Limited edition 8 + 1 AP

CX4 is a limited-edition sculptural side table from the CORTEX collection, handcrafted from marble and stainless steel. Its irregular stone surface and precise metal structure create a distinctive interplay between geometric structures and organic forms. The composition combines an irregularly shaped marble top with a stainless steel structure that forms an essential part of its sculptural identity. The stone surface appears to rest on a series of vertical metal planes, creating a contrast between the horizontality of the marble and the geometry of the elements supporting it. The piece requires precision in the junctions between the two materials. The natural veining and irregular edges of the marble contrast with the defined surfaces of the stainless steel, while the integration of the different elements demands particular attention to the joints and finishes. Produced in a limited edition of 8 pieces + 1 artist's proof, CX4 is a collectible design piece in which the relationship between structure, materiality and artisanal craftsmanship defines its sculptural character.
