Defined by clean geometry and striking proportions, this 19 cm vessel celebrates structural design with an inverted cone silhouette and a flat, stepped shoulder. The mirror-polished silver-tone exterior creates a crisp, metallic plane that reflects light along its tapered angles, punctuated by deep cobalt cabochons set around the upper perimeter. Constructed with a heavy, solid brass core, its bold geometric profile functions as an architectural centrepiece —whether displayed as a standalone sculpture or styled with single-stem florals. Details & Specifications: Proportions: 19 cm Height (7.5 in) Character & Condition: Excellent exterior luster; natural warm brass patina lines the inner chamber from age and use. Some surface wear as expected from vintage however it has been lightly polished Note for Collectors: A smaller, complementary version (15 cm) is may also be available in a separate listing if you wish to curate the pair as a set. FAQ

Can this vase safely hold water for fresh flowers, or is a glass insert recommended given the brass inner chamber shows patina from age and use?

We recommend using a glass insert when displaying fresh flowers, as the brass inner chamber has developed a natural patina over time.

What is the interior opening diameter at the top? This is essential to know which stems or inserts will fit.

The interior opening measures approximately 6.5cm in diameter at the top.

The materials list Brass and Chrome, but the description says 'silver-tone'. Is the exterior finish genuine chrome plating, silver plating, or a coating over the brass core?

The exterior features genuine chrome plating over the brass core, giving it its distinctive silver-tone finish.

Are all cobalt cabochons present, secure, and free of chips or cracks?

Yes, all cobalt cabochons are present and secure, with no chips or cracks.

Can you confirm the approximate age/period of this piece and provide any provenance, maker's marks, or hallmarks to verify its Art Deco authenticity?

This piece is presented in the Art Deco style; however, as there are no hallmarks present, its exact age and provenance cannot be formally confirmed.
