Undercurrent Mirror
Fait sur commande — créé spécialement pour vous
Undercurrent is a circular wall mirror featuring an entirely mirrored surface overlaid with an irregular ink gradient shifting from black to deep green. The gradient partially obscures the reflection while leaving the mirrored surface uninterrupted.
The gradient is created using light-sensitive inks whose colour intensity varies with the surrounding light. Its appearance may therefore differ slightly from the images shown, depending on the lighting conditions in the space where the work is displayed.
Made in Italy from laminated mirror and clear glass, with concealed stainless-steel wall-mounting profiles. The work is part of a limited edition.

FAQ
How many pieces are in this limited edition, and is a signed certificate of authenticity included?
Undercurrent is a time-limited edition produced until 31 December 2029, with no predetermined total number of pieces. Each piece is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
For this 75kg wall mirror, are the concealed stainless-steel mounting profiles and all necessary fixing hardware included, and is professional installation recommended?
The mirror arrives fully assembled, with all necessary mounting hardware included for installation.
How stable is the light-sensitive ink gradient over time, and does prolonged sun or artificial light exposure cause permanent fading or alteration?
The ink gradient is UV-protected and designed to remain color-stable over the long term, resisting fading from light exposure.
What are the recommended care and cleaning instructions, particularly for the inked gradient surface?
Clean gently with a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth and a streak-free, ammonia-free glass cleaner. Always apply the cleaner to the cloth rather than directly onto the surface, and avoid abrasive materials and solvents to preserve the inked gradient finish.
Since this is made-to-order, can the mirror be produced in a custom diameter or with an adjusted gradient/color palette?
Yes, as a made-to-order piece, the mirror can be produced in a custom diameter to suit your space.
Can the mirror be hung in any rotational orientation, or is there a fixed/intended orientation for the gradient as designed by the artist?
The mirror has a fixed, intended orientation for the gradient as conceived by the artist, and is designed to be hung accordingly.
