Sutradhar Room Separator - With Shelves

Inspired by the rhythmic geometry of Sikandra, the Jali Dhurrie Separator reimagines the traditional dhurrie as a handcrafted, bespoke design collectible for contemporary homes. Its handwoven textile panels feature intricate patterns inspired by Mughal jalis, the latticed screens that balance light, privacy and openness in traditional Indian architecture. Each panel is carefully woven and finished by hand, then set within a structured wooden framework. The interplay between the softness of the textile and the solidity of the wood creates a dialogue between craftsmanship and soft architecture, while the repeating geometry lends the piece rhythm and movement. The Sutradhar Separator offers privacy without disconnecting spaces, bringing together textile, light and form in a contemporary sculptural partition. Integrated shelving adds a functional dimension, creating space to display books, art and cherished objects Handcrafted and custom-made to suit individual spaces.
