Sunset Sunrise - Sculptural Pendant Light

Jesse Visser creates furniture, lighting and art pieces that bring together quiet simplicity and a distinctive presence. Working from his Amsterdam studio, he explores how materials, light and form can shift our perception. His work is precise and understated, with a poetic quality that gradually reveals itself. Curiosity and craftsmanship are at the heart of his practice. Familiar materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, wood and stone find new expression through unexpected applications and carefully developed production techniques. A subtle curve, a reflective surface or layers of expanded metal lend each piece an intriguing character. Every detail contributes to the relationship between form, function and experience. His pieces invite discovery. Light, shadow and reflections change as the viewer moves, revealing new qualities from different perspectives. This interplay creates a personal connection between the work, its surroundings and the person experiencing it. Alongside collaborations with design brands, Visser develops his own collection and limited editions, allowing space for experimentation and artistic expression. His furniture, lighting and art pieces share a commitment to lasting quality and an aesthetic that transcends passing trends. Designed to be lived with and rediscovered over time, they engage the senses while offering moments of stillness, wonder and contemplation.
