RC-AL2 — Sculptural Vase. Limited edition 8 + 1 AP

RC-AL2 is a limited-edition sculptural vase from the RE-COLLECTORS collection, handcrafted from cast and sheet aluminium. Its composition brings together geometric volumes and organic forms that interconnect, creating a piece with a strong architectural presence. The RE-COLLECTORS collection explores fragmentation as a principle of construction and transformation. The combination of cast and sheet aluminium is one of the most distinctive features of RC-AL2. While casting allows for greater sculptural freedom, sheet metal introduces defined surfaces and precise geometries. The interplay between these two techniques creates contrasts in volume, texture and finish that shape the identity of the piece. Each piece is handcrafted through a specialised metalworking process. The polished and brushed surfaces, the junctions between its different elements and the precision of its finishes require meticulous attention throughout production. This combination of techniques and manual craftsmanship makes the fabrication process an essential part of the work's value. Produced in a limited edition of 8 pieces + 1 artist's proof, RC-AL2 is a collectible design piece in which formal exploration and the complexity of its handcrafted production take centre stage.
