Nandi Lamp- Wooden Lamp

Hand-carved in teak wood and finished with a brass-detailed tikka, the Nandi Lamp reimagines one of Hinduism’s most enduring symbols through the language of contemporary collectible design. Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, this bespoke designer collectible brings together traditional craftsmanship and sculptural form, conceived for contemporary homes. In Hindu tradition, Nandi - the sacred bull and devoted companion of Lord Shiva embodies strength, purity and unwavering devotion. Here, his sculpted form becomes the foundation for a four-foot lamp, with the shade rising organically from his hump to create an unexpected union of sculpture and light. Rooted in the spiritual realms of ancient India yet imagined for the contemporary interior, the Nandi Lamp is both an object of reverence and a statement of modern design, where mythology, craftsmanship and materiality converge. This piece is made to order and can be used as a table lamp. Custom wiring is available on request.
