    Certificate of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document issued by a reputable source that confirms the genuineness of an artwork. Often, COAs are signed by the artist, but they can also be signed by the gallery representing the artist or the printmaker who collaborated on the piece. For works sold in the secondary market, COAs are frequently issued by authorized estates or foundations.

COAs usually contain the artist's name, the artwork's title, date, medium, and dimensions, and, whenever possible, an image of the piece.

Part of a series of instinctive mark-making works, Flash Series explores spontaneous movement through a practice inspired by the Japanese tradition of Hitsuzendō. The series continues a line of artistic research into gesture, rhythm and repetition, in dialogue with the work of Pierrette Bloch. Each piece emerges from a repeated, liberated movement of the hand, allowing the gesture to unfold intuitively, free from predetermined intention. The resulting marks capture the energy and rhythm of the movement itself. This original monotype is professionally framed by a framing workshop in the South of France. The aluminium frame features a brushed finish on the exterior and a polished mirror finish on the interior, creating a refined contrast with the work. Hand-signed by the artist on the reverse. Certificate of authenticity included. Technique: Monotype Support: Paper Frame: Aluminium Original artwork dimensions: 40 × 40 cm Framed dimensions: 70 × 56,5 × 5,5 cm
