Crafted by silversmith J.L. Hultman for Svenskt Tenn, this rare Swedish Grace pewter gaming chest features hand-engraved card suit motifs on the lid and rests on sculpted feet. The wood-lined interior holds four circular pewter counter dishes and two complete 1933 Öberg & Son playing card decks. The front edge bears a personalized Swedish inscription reading "På 40-årsdagen 1935" ("On the 40th birthday, 1935"). Designer / Origin: J.L.
