INCLUDES A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

Certificate of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document issued by a reputable source that confirms the genuineness of an artwork. Often, COAs are signed by the artist, but they can also be signed by the gallery representing the artist or the printmaker who collaborated on the piece. For works sold in the secondary market, COAs are frequently issued by authorized estates or foundations.

COAs usually contain the artist's name, the artwork's title, date, medium, and dimensions, and, whenever possible, an image of the piece.

Fiction-wise Original artwork · Painting on canvas 150 × 100 cm Can be hung vertically or horizontally. There’s a story here, though I couldn’t tell you exactly what happened. I keep finding a different face, a gesture I hadn’t noticed, two figures that might actually be one. They seem familiar somehow, like people from a dream you meant to write down. I like leaving them this way. A little tangled, with room for another version of events.
