One piece that, today, stands out in her own bookcase, is a bohemian Art Deco glass vase displaying an interpretation of the concept of sisterhood. The Michael collection embraces women as a source of inspiration.\n\nBuilding upon the foundation of antique moulds, Akua was afforded the creative freedom to transform the outcome from the mould through specialized techniques such as cutting and sand-blowing, while carefully selecting colours that harmonize with the design ethos of Akua Objects. Once the glass has cooled, it passes through the hands of several glass experts.
