Optic-blown in green-tinted glass with horizontal banding and patinated brass fittings. Its soft, rounded form and clear glass reflect the ideals of Swedish functionalism, which brought the modernist thinking of the Bauhaus to Swedish homes through simple shapes and honest materials.\n\nFounded in 1835, Eda was once one of Sweden’s largest glassworks. After closing in 1933, it was restarted by its own glassblowers, who ran it on a smaller scale until 1940. This lamp comes from that short period, when the glassblowers ran the works themselves and the pieces were made without named designers.\n\nPaired with a new white linen lampshade.\n\nMeasurements\nHeight without shade: 24 cm (9.4\")\nHeight with shade: 35 cm (13.8\")\nShade diameter: 30 cm (11.8\")\nBase diameter: 18 cm (7.1\")","brand":"Spigel","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67837669474694,"sku":null,"price":1800.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/ojewktabuiwv15wsodh4.jpg?v=1793609011","url":"https:\/\/oblist.mom\/fr-ch\/products\/functionalist-glass-table-lamp-sweden-1940s","provider":"The Oblist","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
