{"title":"KARST","description":"KARST is a Berlin carpentry studio harmonising modern design and fine craftsmanship. Founded in 2018 by Ricarda Sophie Lorenz and Julien Budnik, the studio combines Julien’s technical expertise as a master carpenter with Ricarda’s incisive creative direction. Together, they work alongside architects and interior designers, and directly with individual clients, to realise custom interiors and original furniture pieces.\n\nPremised on a command of craft and a love for natural materials, Karst’s aesthetic sensibility blends modern and mid-century references across art, architecture and design. Harmonising function and form, the studio’s spaces and objects are characterised by exceptional materials, thoughtful detailing and precise finishes while each expressing a distinct individuality.","products":[{"product_id":"the-widescreen-bookstand","title":"The Widescreen Bookstand","description":"Designed by Anton Defant, the Widescreen Bookstand is composed of four interconnected surfaces in veneer that extend across the length of the object in a folded geometry. Finished in a deep matte lacquer, the surface reduces reflections while allowing the natural\ngrain of the wood to remain visible. The slightly inclined planes\ncreate a continuous surface for holding and presenting books in\nan open, horizontal arrangement.\nDefined by its clear construction and distinctive silhouette, the\nBookstand is both functional and sculptural. It accommodates\nbooks without visually dominating its surroundings, allowing the\nobject itself to become a quiet spatial element.","brand":"KARST","offers":[{"title":"Cherry","offer_id":67566376321414,"sku":"Cherry","price":3884.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Walnut","offer_id":67566376354182,"sku":"Walnut","price":3884.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Oak","offer_id":67566376386950,"sku":"Oak","price":3884.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Black Oak","offer_id":67566376419718,"sku":"Black-Oak","price":3884.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/dtpawj4zdj3sfxztgnde.jpg?v=1791124183"},{"product_id":"the-block-chair","title":"The Block Chair","description":"The Block Chair embodies architectural clarity through its precise geometry and materiality. Crafted from veneer, its form is defined by clean, solid volumes that interact with space as sculptural elements. The matte 2K lacquer enhances the surface with a subtle texture, reducing glare and emphasizing the chair’s refined contours while ensuring durability.\n\nMore than a piece of furniture, the Block Chair engages with its surroundings as an object of spatial presence. Balancing solidity with lightness and function with form, it creates a harmonious dialogue between design and architecture.","brand":"KARST","offers":[{"title":"Walnut","offer_id":67609712099718,"sku":"Walnut","price":3452.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Cherry","offer_id":67609712132486,"sku":"Cherry","price":3452.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Black Oak","offer_id":67609712165254,"sku":"Black-Oak","price":3452.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Oak","offer_id":67619948102022,"sku":"Oak","price":3452.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/s1yaosmrphyhu3ykx9hb.jpg?v=1791819899"}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/collections\/qttylmaqeyyncxxu842v.jpg?v=1789925019","url":"https:\/\/oblist.mom\/en-ch\/collections\/karst.oembed","provider":"The Oblist","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
