Arthur Bitsch

Arthur Bitsch (b. 1996) is a French artist and designer. He considers creation as a global discipline, where art, design, and space act as mediums and as vectors of meaning and symbols. By combining radical aesthetics with a mastery of industrial, artisanal, and contemporary know-how, he develops a singular visual language at the intersection of the technical, the metaphysical, and the sensitive. He pursues an autonomous production grounded in an empirical approach. The pieces, produced in limited editions or as unique objects, explore various mediums: object, furniture, lighting, sculpture. These artifacts are the result of symbolic reflection, where each work becomes the receptacle of a concept, an idea..

This lamp is part of the Altar object series, which aims to ritualize everyday objects. This fixture is made of translucent PLA, a bio-sourced material, giving it a shell that allows light to pass through and reveals hidden patterns.
