Veronika Janovec is a Slovak artist working in ceramic sculpture based in Berlin. Informed by her background in architecture, her sculptural practice is concerned with symbolism, structure, proportion and repetition, as well as the ambiguities of material, character and time. At the centre of her practice is a search for nature — observed, remembered and imagined — and for forms that seem to belong simultaneously to the landscape and to the body. Recent projects include Temper at Forma Gallery (2026, Berlin) and the performance Gallop at Funkhaus Berlin (2026). Her work has been exhibited in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Milan, Mexico City, and Montreal. She is represented by a gallery in Cologne.
