Stéven Coëffic is an artist and designer working at the intersection of art, design and craft. From his Paris atelier, he creates ceramic pieces that cast an affectionate eye on the ordinary, revealing the unexpected poetry of everyday objects. His research into “functional distraction” informs a body of work spanning furniture, lighting and sculptural pieces. Balancing formal rigour with conceptual inquiry, each work is made to order, numbered and signed. His work has been presented at LICHT Gallery (Tokyo), MATTER and SHAPE (Paris) and Design Parade, where he received the Jury Prize in 2023.
