{"title":"Sheyang Li","description":"Sheyang Li \nis a designer from France and Hong Kong, based in the Netherlands and France. With a background in engineering and a hands-on approach to making, he focuses on sculptural furniture and objects driven by material experimentation. His work often begins with traditional processes, which he reinterprets through trial, error, and intuition. Now based in Eindhoven, he creates unique pieces that explore the tension between structure and spontaneity, where each material is treated as having its own language. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Design Academy Eindhoven and opened his own studio.","products":[{"product_id":"784633-synthetic-graft-chair","title":"'Synthetic Graft' Chair in Cast Aluminum","description":"The Synthetic Graft Chair explores the meeting point between industrial precision and organic growth. Using standard aluminium profiles as a rigid framework, molten aluminium is cast directly onto the structure, binding it in place. The cast material grips around the straight lines, forming unique, natural connections, as if the structure has grown into itself over time.","brand":"Sheyang Li","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56193385857289,"sku":null,"price":4000.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/mc_a7Q5cldWm.jpg?v=1758893099"},{"product_id":"390095-elemental-patchwork-lamp","title":"'Elemental Patchwork' Table Lamp","description":"Elemental Patchwork is a series of one-of-a-kind cast metal works that turn the fluid chaos of molten material into lasting form. It brings the Soft Ply collection into a smaller, more adaptable format for domestic interiors.\n\nThe lamp is built around a thin veneer shade, shaped to create a warm and soft diffusion of light. The natural eye-like markings of the birch veneer give each piece a subtle variation, making every lamp slightly different. Brass fittings add a precise detail to the construction, while the cherry wood base brings depth, warmth, and contrast.\n\nThe piece expands on Sheyang Li’s ongoing research into veneer as more than a decorative surface. In the Soft Ply series, veneer becomes a structural and spatial material: it bends, filters light, and defines the character of the object.\n\nThe lamp is supplied with a black cable, with customization available on request if needed. Compact, warm, and material-driven, the piece sits between functional lighting and collectible design.","brand":"Sheyang Li","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57037422919945,"sku":null,"price":220.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/xgpllo2euintznqkwhfb.jpg?v=1777995152"},{"product_id":"soft-ply-table-lamp-lacquered-paper","title":"Soft Ply Table Lamp (Lacquered Paper)","description":"The Soft Ply Lamp transforms lacquered paper into a lightweight yet durable structure. Multiple layers of lacquer reinforce the paper, creating a semi-rigid, shell-like shade while preserving the material’s subtle texture and delicate appearance.\n\nDesigned for use in the home, the lamp produces a warm, softly diffused light and brings a distinctive material presence to an interior. The shade rests on a minimal aluminium base, creating a balanced contrast between the paper’s tactile surface and the precision of the metal.\n\nBoth functional and sculptural, the Soft Ply Lamp reflects an experimental approach to construction, showing how an ordinarily fragile material can become strong, stable, and suitable for everyday use.","brand":"Sheyang Li","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57237477130505,"sku":null,"price":1000.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/xgko3vc1ou44sicgafjk.jpg?v=1785828070"}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/collections\/li_sheyang1_gmail_com.jpg?v=1784885556","url":"https:\/\/oblist.mom\/collections\/sheyang-li.oembed","provider":"The Oblist","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
