L'argile est son matériau de prédilection, car il a le pouvoir intrinsèque d'être façonné à la main en un objet infiniment petit ou infiniment grand.\nCela lui permet d'imaginer une grande variété de pièces, des lampes aux tables à manger en passant par des éléments architecturaux. Ses créations sont conçues comme des collections et des gammes. Ces familles d'objets jouent avec l'équilibre: des piliers s'élevant du sol, un coussin suspendu dans les airs, un grand dôme reposant sur des pieds élancés. Les éléments se touchent, s'appuient et se soutiennent.\nElle est sensible à \"la présence de l'absence\", du vide ou de la contre-forme. John Pawson, Donald Judd et Rachel Whiteread sont parmi les artistes qui l'inspirent dans leur recherche de l'essentiel et de la pureté.\nLisa Allegra cherche à créer des formes à la fois minimalistes et chaleureuses, en utilisant le matériau terre, des formes arrondies et des associations avec d'autres matériaux tels que le textile et le bois.\nElle incorpore de nouvelles compétences telles que le tissage, la tapisserie d'ameublement et la menuiserie pour créer des objets qui reflètent ses idées et ses aspirations.\nCe choix de corréler son travail de designer avec l'ensemble de ces compétences lui permet de produire en petites séries des objets faits main, durables, dont elle maîtrise à la fois la conception et la fabrication.\nLisa Allegra est diplômée en 2010 de l'École des Arts Décoratifs en France. Elle a travaillé pour Tsé\u0026amp;Tsé Associées et Constance Guisset tout en travaillant comme designer indépendante. Suite à un concours, son porte-manteau ITA a été publié.\nAprès avoir parcouru l'Asie, les États-Unis et le Brésil pendant près d'un an, elle a rejoint en 2014 l'équipe de visual merchandising de la marque Diptyque Paris.
