{"title":"Kaytar","description":"Jacqueline Kaytar is a Croatian Australian.  Since beginning her creative journey in textile design, Kaytar has developed her stylistic vocabulary in the creation of objects and space over more than 20 years.\nKaytar’s work explores the liminal space between art and design. Whilst some pieces are pure artistic expression, others are both sculptural and functional. Her lighting pieces interact with space through form and illumination.\nKaytar’s artistic process is guided by alchemical experimentation and the modification of natural matter. This focus on transformation is borne of her interest in the consciousness of things. Working with materials from nature, such as metal, flax linen, plant dyes, minerals and beeswax – all selected for their symbolic associations – Kaytar believes that this matter, when imbued with human touch, becomes animate.\nThis spark of life is not only present during the process of artistic transformation, but also resonates with viewers interacting with Kaytar’s finished forms. The artist hopes that her works in lighting, sculpture, textiles, and the built environment take us to realms of sensory pleasure, memory, and contemplation, allowing us to regain a sense of awe in all things.","products":[{"product_id":"bark-side-table","title":"Bark | Aluminium Side Table","description":"Drawing from the deeply furrowed ironbark texture shaped by time, this sculptural table captures nature’s raw beauty in solid aluminium, crafted using the traditional sand casting method. The rich bark texture contrasts with the smooth high-gloss mirror finish of the tabletop and detailing, balancing the organic with the refined.\n\nEach unique ripple and pit, formed through the hand-casting process, adds to the piece’s individuality. Over time, the surface will naturally develop a patina, deepening its character, or it can be restored to its original brilliance with a simple polish, offering two distinct expressions of its evolving form. Its form follows the natural growth of trees in nature and the contours of bark, embracing asymmetry and subtle variations in texture that make each table truly one of a kind.","brand":"Kaytar","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56833391755529,"sku":null,"price":2947.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/ouusqi8qexg6u1f0uumq.jpg?v=1771580504"},{"product_id":"alter-sconce","title":"ALTER Sconce | Aluminium","description":"Sand cast by hand and alchemy to represent the unity of matter, spirit and energy.
