{"title":"Curtis Bloxsidge","description":"Coming to fruition in 2024, Curtis' practice emerged from a background in cabinet making, joinery, and set construction, formed by a slow and deliberate development of ideas. Working between traditional handcraft and contemporary processes, he focuses on natural materials to create bold, minimal pieces that are grounded, quiet, and enduring.\n\nGrowing up in Western Australia and now living and working on Wurundjeri land (Naarm\/Melbourne, Australia), Curtis' work is informed by personal and sentimental histories. Working predominantly with jarrah (a timber native to his birth area), which becomes a conduit for memories, it carries a strong but intimate presence through its weight, warmth, and grain. Each piece is approached not just as an object but also as a character, shaped by restraint, proportion, and touch. His designs draw subtle references from the natural world and classical furniture archetypes, distilled into reduced forms that feel both familiar and considered with emphasis placed on material honesty, surface, and shadow.\n\nJarrah (djarraly, Eucalyptus marginata) is endemic to the south-west corner of Australia. Renowned for its strength, durability, and deep, rich tones, it has long been used for tools, construction, and furniture by the Noongar people and later populations for centuries. Today, the timber is sustainably sourced from regrowth forests under strict environmental regulations, continuing a material lineage that values longevity, purpose, and respect for place.","products":[{"product_id":"210072-stool","title":"'Wave' Stool","description":"Bold Parallel legs hold up a shaped seat inspired by waves and pagoda silhouettes.","brand":"Curtis Bloxsidge","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56820912914697,"sku":null,"price":1609.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/d67yeesl3js1zbwzssjb.jpg?v=1778049699"},{"product_id":"360388-coffee-table","title":"Cubic Coffee Table","description":"This piece has a floating effect and is carried forth by its illusion of mass and it's angular edges - both grounded by a dense cubic base.\n\nJarrah ranges from light red to dark brownish red hues","brand":"Curtis Bloxsidge","offers":[{"title":"without knit","offer_id":55184402055433,"sku":"without-knit","price":1793.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/xgluwel28ry42ej1x66t.jpg?v=1784793601"},{"product_id":"273606-waiting-chair","title":"Waiting Chair","description":"This piece is detailed by an angular boxed lower form that protrudes from the ground, a soft seat moulding, and a slanted back rest which holds the knitted inlay - an ode to classical furniture features.","brand":"Curtis Bloxsidge","offers":[{"title":"with knit","offer_id":55184402219273,"sku":"with-knit","price":2630.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/ohpqlv7twpgvmmyfyhpr_25f5775b-86dc-472f-a870-b6ec586c8c3f.jpg?v=1789539282"},{"product_id":"351569-bench","title":"Oscillation Bench","description":"This piece follows the archetypal form of a bench.
